It’s playlist time again!! This time I put together a mix of computer game songs from the 90s (including some cool modern interpretations), a surprise Dan Bull Tomb Raider song and the songs from Retro Sherbet that were inspired by 90s games.

This playlist has some personal significance for me as I wasn’t allowed to play more than half an hour of computer games a week as a kid. I ended up instead turning to computer game music as a way to get my fix. I went to both the Play! Symphonies later on in life when they came to Sydney and, even today, practice computer game songs as a way to hone my craft.
If you like the list, don’t forget to follow my doomlordofdoom account on Spotify as well! I’ll be using the account purely to create fun playlists 🙂
As a new addition to the playlists I’ve been creating on Spotify of iconic 90s music with a few Retro Sherbet songs stirred in, I’ve created a playlist of 90s Anthem Songs and Retro Sherbet songs.
You can take a listen by clicking play or clicking here.
I tried to put songs into this list that had a strong social impact or really defined a group/movement/sound within the decade. From punk like ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, to the boyband pop of the era represented by ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’ and everything in between.
If you like the playlists, definitely consider subscribing to my Spotify account! I use the account almost exclusively to create fun playlists 🙂
It’s time for another 90s inspired playlist! If you’re in the mood for a bit of musical time travel, here’s a playlist I put together that slots 90s TV Theme songs, 90s songs that found their fame through TV shows and a few Retro Sherbet songs inspired by 90s TV shows together too!!
Click play to listen or click here to open the playlist up in Spotify.
There’s songs from anime shows like Sailor Moon and Pokemon, songs from cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants and Hey Arnold, as well as songs from dramas like Dawson’s Creek and Friends thrown in there too. I hope you enjoy the mix!
